I was looking for a place that had a selection of diesel generators to choose from. My local farm and home stores all have gas powered ones. I even found one that can be hooked to natural gas or propane. I need diesel. We have a farm and need two generators. We want one at the house and at the barn. We have an underground tank that gets filled wit diesel to power our farm equipment. That is why we want generators that are powered by diesel. We will have plenty of fuel to use if the power goes out. Actually, it is when the power goes out. We usually lose it up here for about a week in the winter. The little gasoline generators we were using required us to store gasoline above ground. We would rather use our diesel stored underground. I found the right size generators here that run on diesel fuel. Now the wells, lights, refrigerators and other appliances can all be used at the barn and house when the power goes out.
