First of all, you need to start the building plans for picnic table with the seats which must be 6 inch long. (Picking the best pieces is important, so you can avoid silvers at your back part). Then prepare the picnic table top. It should be 9 pieces and 6 inch long. The support for the picnic table top should be 3 pieces at 32.5″ long.
Then, cut them 3 from one of the 12-footers. The ends should also be angled. Although the angles are not much important, don’t make them too sharp.
You also need to prepare the braces. These are the ones supporting the picnic table top: 2 pieces at 30 ¾ inch long. Out of the 6-foot leftover, cut 2 pieces. Pointed ends should have a 65 degree angle. Then, prepare the sear supports. Bear in mind that the 2 pieces should be 56″ long. Cut 2 from the legs and one from this. The angles are not much important.
Lastly, the legs should have 4 pieces and must be pressure – treated. They must also be 2 x 4, 40″ long. Angles should be 54 degrees because they’re the sharp points.
