Nobody really puts that much attention into post boxes anymore; people just think of it almost as if it’s one of the bins, alongside the recycling bin. But the fact of the matter is that a post box, once it’s implanted into the ground (and some would say this is the case in every legal sense), that it’s a part of the property already; it’s a part of the real estate. And so, if you care about your property, you’d care about the sort of post boxes that you’d consider to be a part of that property. It’s indication of the values you have, of the attention to detail. If it’s just some anonymous box, you may have a hard time closing the deal on somebody’s curb side impression of your property; closing the deal on absolutely blowing away that person’s expectations about the property. Everybody cares about property values to one extent or another.
