1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? I was on unemployment for a very long, long time.

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? This is a rather boring answer! I actually had no resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Not this year…

4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes, someone very near and dear to my heart. The first love of my life Randy James Arthur died in November.

5. What countries did you visit? Mexico! Like, a bunch of times!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? I would like to be more positive. Although this year has been good to me, I want to try to have a more sunny outlook on life, and maybe that can affect others around me to do the same.

7 What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Election Day!!! What a wonderful day for the U.S of A!! After 12 years of an Idiocracy, we get a hip, young, African American Democrat President Elect! Can’t wait!!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? ! I finally told my mother how I really feel, instead of being scared and holding it in.

9. What was your biggest failure? I really didn’t have any failures.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yeah, I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance, and am currently dealing with a particulary strong infection.

11. What was the best thing you bought? Playstation 3!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Just being alive merits a celebration…

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My mother sometimes makes me depressed…she tends to have a negative outlook on life.

14. Where did most of your money go? Traveling, and decorating the house!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Finding and meeting my biological father!

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? We got KRUNK! Invited a bunch of friends over to the house, had a ton of food and alchohol! Turned 22 this year.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurablty more satisfying? Having my degree

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? I definetly became more fashion conscious…and chose quality over quantity.

34. What kept you sane? Reading my feeds, Pandora.com, and finding a good job.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Kim Kardashian…I love her style SO SO much.

36. What political issue stirred you the most? Obviously the Obama victory meant a lot to me, but I think that the current situation in Mexico affects me much more since it hits harder to home. I am sad about the Cartel wars.

37. Who did you miss? I miss my Juanito the most!

38. Who was the best new person you met? Lesa! Although she’s not technically ‘new’ persay, but we got a lot ‘closer’ this year.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. I should be myself, because not every body will like everything about me. I can’t change for everyone.
